Corporate social responsibility is a core element of the Doosan Way. We support our communities through volunteerism, charitable giving, providing important educational opportunities, and engaging in sustainable business operations. These ideals and practices make us a company you can be proud to work for.
Community service promotes positive corporate and social development, and builds strong people and communities. That’s why we provide opportunities to succeed both on and off the job. No matter where you are in our brand family, you’ll get the chance to take part in plenty of fun volunteer events to give back to our friends and neighbors.
Everyone in our company is encouraged to volunteer at least one day per year. However, don’t consider that a limit. Even small efforts collectively add up to make a big difference, and your ability to make a positive impact is limited only by your imagination. Through individual volunteer efforts and companywide global events like our annual Doosan Days of Community Service, we contribute thousands of volunteer hours every year to benefit our communities.
Ensuring a strong future for our industry and communities starts with strong educational opportunities. We are proud to support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education by offering scholarships and tuition reimbursement for technical schools, grants for middle school classrooms, and internship opportunities for students.
In early 2015, we made the largest educational donation in our history with a $3 million donation to STEM scholarships at North Dakota State University, with an additional $1.5 million in matching funds from the state of North Dakota.

Every day, we strive to build a more sustainable business. You’ll find accelerated recycling programs and green initiatives in our workspaces, as well as volunteer efforts promoting a positive environmental impact in our communities. We are also focused on reducing the carbon footprint of our facilities and implementing responsible waste management.
